I should be sleeping!!!!

So it's a little after 5 in the morning and I've been up for awhile laying in bed feeling frustrated that i can't sleep because my mind is racing!! On average I get up about 3-4 times a night to go to the bathroom or switch positions because I feel like my hip is going to detach itself from my body, sounds awesome, I know!
Tim and I went to a birthing class yesterday (this is probably why I can't sleep) and to be honest it kinda freaked me out. I thought it would be a really good experience for Tim and I to get ready for the baby but half way through the class when we were dismissed for a lunch break I was highly considering not going back for the second half. Tim was trying to make me feel better and tell me I was tough and I could do this but I'm feeling like a pansy right now. Where's a stork when you need one?! OK I'm done being a baby!
The nursery still isn't ready, we finally got the crib and set it up but we are still waiting for the dresser and rocking chair that we ordered to come in, we're quite the procrastinators. At least she has a bed and the Tim painted the room and it turned out really cute, I'll get pictures posted of that later, I'm too lazy at this unearthly hour to walk back upstairs to get the camera!
Well I feel tired again so I'm going to try to go back to sleep!
Only one official week left! (we'll say two as I know this baby isn't coming on time!)

  3. Umm I don't mean to be the bearer of bad news but get used to being awake at unearthly hours that you never thought possible! The birthing class was scary and it tries to prepare you for what is to come, but as a woman your body naturally knows what to do for the most part. You will be surprised at what you can endure that you never thought possible and all the pain you thought you would never forget you do and we will probably do it over and over (hopefully not to many overs though ha). Goodluck you will do great and be a great MOM!

  5. And this is why you DON'T work right now. I don't envy you right now but I know as soon as Cali comes I will be totally jealous! :) I'm glad you finally made it to the birthing class. I bet it was good info for the most part. I hope you got caught up on your sleep and think only a few more days.
