A letter from Max Hall to the Bawden Family

Dear Bawden's

I can win the big game. One of my fondest memories is of me winning the big game. Let me take you back to 2007. 4th and 18. I cannot say more than that I acknowledge the unsatisfactory play this past week. Your Utes deserve more...

Good luck against either Florida or Alabama come the Sugar Bowl. I will be the first to thank you for the fat check that we here at BYU will cash as soon as we get it. We will use the money wisely.

Please pass my regards to Brian Johnson, who in my mind was the better QB last week. Too bad that you will never make it past Utah. How are you going to make it if Alex Smith could not and he was pick #1.

And to you Kyle W., BYU doesn't want you, doesn't like you, and thinks that you look fat on TV.

Bronco, thanks for keeping the faith. We'll see you next year.

You too Bawden's...

Max

P.S. Tim, I am glad that you are a BYU fan but let's face it, your friends suck!

Good Job Utes...

1 out of 3 seasons is not that bad I guess. See you in 09'

P.S.

Dear Max Hall,

Thanks for a great season. I forgive you for having the worst game of your life last week. Better luck next year.

Sincerely,

Tim Masias

Lest you forget!

Just so everyone knows that in our household we root for the Y. This is rivalry week and it is the same week that my Ute Fan friends become enemies. Just until next week.

Tim vs. The Deer

Last night on his way home from work Tim calls me and informs me that he has just been in a hit and run accident! I was like "Oh my gosh are you ok, what happened?" And he tells me that a deer hit him and ran away. Looking back now it's pretty funny, the "hit and run" thing but at the time I was thinking is he hurt, how's the car and what happened to the deer?!!!
Luckily Tim walked away with a couple minor cuts and the deer ran safely away. Apparently it's hoof nicked his window as it jumped over, it could have been a lot worse. Now Tim only feels his "injuries" when I ask him to do something like change the baby or fold clothes, etc. He will remind me that he was injured and almost died and really can't do anything. Anybody who knows me knows that I just roll my eyes and tell him to do it anyway!
We have to get a new driver's side window and the roof replaced.
Here is the $2000 plus damage that the deer caused:

2 month check up

Yesterday I took in Reagan for her 2 month check up. Tim is out of town so I took her myself, I'm pretty sure he planned it that way so he could get out of seeing her get her shots. He thinks he's sneaky but I'm onto him!

So we get her weight and measurements:

weight: 11 lbs 14 ounces 90 percentile

height: 24.5 inches 97 percentile (she's going to be a tall one!)

So we've got a giant on our hands but she's so cute we'll keep her!

She did pretty well with the shots she only cried for about a minute , until I could get the bottle in her mouth and then when I picked her up she zonked out.

Halloween

It was a fun Halloween this year...A lot of firsts.

1st # 1. Reagan's first Halloween
1st # 2. Matt's first Halloween with us
1st # 3. Tim and Jasmine's first Halloween since 2007
1st # 4. Tim's first Halloween working at Spillman (story to come)
1st # 5. Tim and Jasmine's first Halloween buying 10 bags of candy for trick-or-treaters

Ok there were only 4 real firsts but they were all really fun.

It was fun to have Reagan this year. There is nothing more cute than a 7 weeker dressed as a bumble bee. This is also Matt's first Halloween at our house. He and I had our fun out on the streets for about 2.5 hours last night. It was really fun to watch Matt carry his little sack from house to house. Especially the houses that were decorated to make them look scary. He got a little nervous at a few of them.

At work earlier in the day they threw a big Halloween party for the employees and their families to come and trick-or-treat. They had some 35 stations that passed out everything from large pixie sticks to little toys and games. We loaded up there. Some of the candy looked so good I had to make sure that I got some for Reagan as well!

Here in Eagle Mountain half of our population is filled with kids. There are so many kids here that I could hit one with my car and it divides up into two kids. Strange...Anyway, with all of the kids here we have to load up on a ton of candy. I think that we bought about 10 bags this year. We had maybe a bag to a bag .5 left. Thankfully all of the kids stopped coming at around 8:30.
