Finally an update!!

Once again I've been bad at updating. A lot has happened since the last time I updated but I wont bore you too much with it all so I'll give you the highlights and pictures...Tim got a job, very exciting. He's had to travel a couple times which he enjoys.
Matt passed the first grade and is enjoying being out of school for the summer and just had his last baseball game today in the rain. He mostly plays at the park or goes to his cousins house to play. Yesterday he told me I was a mean mom for not letting him drink coke but I figure he's hyper enough without the help of caffeine. And yes I realize that I drink my fair share of coke but I really do need all the caffeine to function!!
Reagan is now 9 months and very very active! At her appointment she was 29 inches long (97th percentile) and 18 lbs 15 ounces (50th percentile). She crawls everywhere and figured out the stairs. She's also learned how to stand, her record is about 10 seconds.

Life in March

Life has been crazy for us lately, we've been busy and I don't know where the time has gone but as I sit here ready to update everyone on our lives I'm not really sure what we've been doing (obviously nothing too important!!).

Reagan is 6 1/2 months now. At her 6 month appointment she weighed 15 lbs 6 ounces 50% and she was 28 inches long 97%. So she is still on the tall side. It's hard to buy clothes for her because she is so tall, right now she's in 9 month clothes and quickly outgrowing them! She's been sitting up on her own for about a month now but she still refuses to roll over unless she has something to hold on to but she's way into spitting now which is cute until she has food in her mouth which gets sprayed all over your face!

Matt is being a 7 year old, learning how to talk back. His newest thing is a classic that we all did as kids...he'll ask to me to maybe go to the park or play at a friends house, I'll say no and he'll go find Tim to see if he can get a better answer. He's in turn learning that's not in his best interest to do if he doesn't plan on being grounded! But he's a great big brother to Reagan and loves to play with her and he's one of the only people right now that can get her to laugh.

As some of you know Tim is spending alot of time at home these days due to the economy and needing to find a new job. I'll admit it's been nice in some ways because he can watch Reagan while I get things done around the house but on the other hand he's quickly wearing out his welcome at home from the hours of 9-5!

As for me I've been trying to get some spring cleaning done. It's exhausting!

And the worst mom award goes to...

So we'll start this story off at 5 am this morning when I wake up to Reagan pulling my hair and grunting. I have a pounding headache so I just try to ignore her and I can tell Tim is awake also trying to ignore her. We both lay there waiting for the other to get up with her, I win and Tim gets up with her and takes her downstairs. Point for Jasmine!! So I go back to bed and I wake up and look at the clock and it's 8, I obviously missed my alarm at 7. I jump out of bed because I'm supposed to take Matt and the neighbor girl to school at 7:45!! oops!! I run to his bedroom and he's not there, just fat Toby laying on his bed. So I go to the kitchen assuming he's in there, no luck! So I run downstairs and Tim is asleep on the couch with Reagan so I wake him and ask him if he knew where Matt was and he said he didn't and he thought I took him to school! CRAP!!!

I run back upstairs and check his room again to only find fat Toby sleeping. I go back to the living room and see that the door is unlocked. I go find my phone to call my neighbor and by now I'm really starting to panic! I get a hold of my neighbor and I ask her if she knew where Matt was and she tells me he made it to school and was fine. Apparently he got up and didn't bother to wake me and got all ready for school and walked up the street to get Cambridge and tells her "Jasmine slept in so I had to walk". Are you kidding me!?! I'm going to have to have a little talk about this with him when he gets home!

I mostly felt like an idiot but my neighbor was so good about it and saw the humor in it!
So all is well, Matt is apparently just very independent!

Kansas City Trip

So Jasmine and I finally decided to take a small trip together to go see some old friends who left Utah a while ago. The Stott's Family. We had planned on going to see them in Chicago but never made it out. Stotts (Daniel) is one of my old mission companions and even though I still do not like him Jasmine and Laci have become good friends. He is from K.C. and was able to take us to see some of the church sites such as Liberty Jail and AdamHere are a few pictures of the trip.

P.S. Reagan had her first plane flight and did really good on the way there with the exception of a crying spell right before we landed. Jasmine said that she was even better on the way home.
